2 cups unsweetened apple juice, divided
1+1/2 cup peeled & chopped apple
1 TB dark brown sugar
1/4 tsp apple pie spice
2 TB cornstarch
Directions:
Directions:
Combine 1+3/4 cup apple juice & next 3 ingredients in a heavy saucepan; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat & simmer 5 to 8 minutes or until the apples are partially tender.

Dissolve cornstarch in remaining apple juice then stir into hot mixture.

Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth & thickened.

Remove from heat & let cool
