3-4 Sweet Potatoes
1 stick Butter
1 c brown sugar
corn starch (optional)
Pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into chunks.
2. Boil sweet potatoes for 15 minutes.
3. While sweet potatoes are boiling, melt butter and add brown sugar (I added approx. 1/2 c additional brown sugar) and continue cooking so the mixture can become syrup-like. You can add corn starch if you'd like it thicker.
4. After you drain sweet potatoes, put in a casserole dish.
5. Pour syrup over sweet potatoes.
6. Add pecans as a topping, if you'd like.
7. Bake at 350º for 1/2 hour.
