1 pound of EACH ground beef, pork & Veal
2 cup soft bread crumbs
2 cups chicken broth, divided
2 eggs. slightly beaten
2 - 4 finely minced garlic cloves
1/4 cup parsley
2 TB fresh thyme
salt & pepper
1 - 2 thinly sliced onions

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º

Mix all ingredients EXCEPT onions

Add more broth if mix is too dry

Form into walnut size meatballs.

Bake in 3 TB oil with onions

When almost completely browned, dissolve 1/4 cup flour into 1+1/2 cup broth to form a sauce.

Cover & cook 20 - 30 minutes,

Stir in 1/2 - 1 cup sour cream , sprinkle parsley on top & season to taste.

Serve over rice or noodles

Can be an appetizer using cranberry sauce instead of sour cream
