The Best Chocolate Cake Recipe Ever !!!


Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 cups sugar
3/4 unsweetened cocoa powder
1.5 tsps baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 tsp espresso powder
1 cup milk ( Buttermilk, almond, or coconut milk)
.5 cup vegetable, canola oil, melted coconut oil
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla Extract
1 cup boiling water

Chocolate Buttercream Frosting
Ingredients:
1.5 cups butter ( 3 sticks softened)
1 cup unsweetened cocoa
5 cups confectioners sugar
.5 cup milk
2 tsp Vanilla Extract
.5 tsp Espresso powder

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare 2 nine inch cake pans by spraying with baking spray or buttering and lightly flouring.
2) Add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and expresso powder to a large bowl. Whisk through to combine or using your paddle attachment stir through until combined well.
3) Add milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla to flour mixture and mix together on med speed until well combined. Reduce speed and carefully add boiling water to the cake batter until well combined. ( the cake batter will be very thin after adding the boiling water)
4) Distribute cake batter evenly between 2 prepared cake pans. Bake for 30-35 min until toothpick comes out clean from center of cake.
5) Remove from oven and allow to cool for about 10 min. Remove from pan and let cool completely.

Chocolate Frosting :
Instructions:
Add cocoa to a large bowl. Whisk through to remove any lumps.
Cream together butter and cocoa powder until well combined
Add sugar and milk to cocoa mixture by adding 1 cup of sugar followed by 1 tsp of milk. After each addition has been combined , turn mixer onto high speed for about a minute. Repeat until all sugar and milk have been added.
Add vanilla and espresso powder and combine well.
If frosting appears to dry, add more milk until the right consistency.
