28 ounces baked beans
I like to do two large cans of baked beans
1 can of Pork n Beans
I can of Barbeque beans
˝ cup ketchup
1 tablespoon yellow mustard
Molasses
About˝ cup brown sugar to taste
Bacon fried and crumbled
Another fabulous addition is hamburger
A variation is Calico beans adding in lima beans and the pork n beans

Preheat the oven to 350°F and lightly spray a 2-quart baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine the ingredients in a large bowl and pour the mixture into the baking dish.
Bake uncovered for about 45 minutes or until the mixture is bubbly.

When I was young Granny always had a pot of beans in the oven, you know the real ones that you soak and then add a ham bone. Now we don't usually take time, so this is a variation of the family favorite using canned beans. Again, every gathering has the beans accompanying the meal.
Then the most wonderful treat follows. Baked bean sandwiches.
Take your bread, spread with the baked beans, then add cooked bacon, cheese on top
Put in oven and heat until the cheese melts and the bread crisps.
The bean sandwich is the best treat ever and economical.
