2 bunches of fresh broccoli, crowns only
10 strips thin bacon (Oscar Mayers), fried crisp and crumbled
⅔ cup golden raisins
1½ bunches of scallions, chopped
1 cup miracle whip
½ cup sugar
2 tsp apple cider vinegar

Directions:

Wash and cut broccoli into bite size pieces. Combine broccoli, scallions and raisins. In a separate bowl, combine remaining ingredients and mix well to make dressing. Pour dressing over top and mix well. Sprinkle crumbled bacon on top just prior to serving.

Nancy had two broccoli salads that she liked. The other one, to me, was good but this one was very good. We serve this a lot. We use it as a vegetable and it can be made way ahead. So many vegetables have to be done at the last minute when you are busy doing other things.

Nancy likes a lot of dressing. When adding dressing you might want to add a little at a time until it is just what you like.
