⅓ cup crisco
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
1¼ cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
1 cup ripe, mashed banana (2)
½ cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
* Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and beat well.
* Sift together dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture alternating with banana blending well each time. Add nuts.
* Pour into well greased loaf pan or muffin tins.
* Bake for 45-50 mins at 350º - makes 1 loaf, 3 mini loaves or 24 muffins. Bake muffins for 20 mins. Remove from pan and cool on rack.
