Mix together:
1/2 c sugar and
3/4 t ground ginger
add:
1/2 c soy sauce
1 minced/crushed clove garlic
2 T vegetable (or sesame oil <--this gives a nice Asian flavor!)

Directions:
Directions:
Store in glass or plastic bottle in refrigerator. Shake bottle before use and pour over chicken, shrimp or pork and marinate for 1-12 hours prior to grilling or broiling. May use in a ziploc bag and squeeze air out and freeze prior to cooking to prevent freezer burn in storage. Note: NEVER use marinades on meat and return to the container!
