2-750 mil can Sauerkraut
1/2 lb. bacon
1 big onion
1 bay leaf crumbled
2 lbs. pork cubed
1 clove garlic chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Fry bacon, take out bacon, and fry pork in bacon juice. Add onions, cook until browned on out side of pork. Does not have to be cooked all the way through. Put Sauerkraut in roasting pan with lid. Add bay leaf, garlic, pepper, bacon, pork and onions. Mix together, add lid and bake in 350º oven for 45 minutes.

This recipe is a tradition at our family wiener roasts. The sauerkraut goes perfect on to of a hot dog.
