4½ c flour (may need more)
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp soda
½ tsp nutmeg
salt
2 c sugar
1 c shortening
2 eggs
1 tsp lemon extract
½ pt sour cream
Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and lemon extract - blend
Add sour cream

Add dry ingredients and blend well
Make sure batter is thick

Roll dough out on floured board about ½" thick
Cut with cutter
Top with sugar

Place on lightly creased cookie sheet

Bake 350º for 10min
