2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
3/4 cup diced or minced onion
1 can cream of chicken or cream of potato soup
1 (16 ounce) sour cream
1 stick melted butter or margarine
1 (8 ounce) package grated cheddar cheese
salt and pepper to taste
1 cup crushed cornflakes

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix everything except cornflakes. Put into a greased 9 x 13 glass pan.
Sprinkle crushed cornflakes on the top.
Bake for one hour.
