12 oz. Beef steak or flank steak - sliced thinly across the grain. If you can do this when the meat is slightly frozen - it makes it much easier.
1 T Soya Sauce
4 Garlic cloves - minced
10 Large White mushrooms - sliced thick
1/4 C Black Bean Garlic Sauce
2 T Rice Wine or Dry Sherry
1 T Cornstarch
2 t Sirrachi
2 T Vegetable Oil
3 T Fresh Ginger - minced
2 lb Broccoli crowns, cut into florets, stems peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 C Roasted Cashews (coarsely chopped)

1. Combine the beef, soya sauce, and garlic in a small bowl and set aside.
2. In a small bowl, combine the black bean sauce, wine, cornstarch and sirachhi. Stir to dissolve the cornstarch and set aside.
3. Heat the vegetable oil in a 12 " skillet over high heat. Add the beef and its marinade, and stir-fry until the meat is just browned. Transfer the beef to a small bowl.
4. Wipe out the skillet and heat the remaining vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the ginger and stir-fry until fragrant, 15-20 seconds. Add the broccoli and 1/4 C water, cover and steam until the broccoli is just tender, 3 to 5 minutes.
5. Stir in the black bean sauce mixture, the stir-fried beef and the mushrooms and cook until the sauce is thick and bubbly about 1 minute.
6. Add the cashews and toss to combine
7. Serve with steamed rice.
