1 ½ cups butter, softened
2 cups sugar
2 cups light brown sugar
8 eggs
5 cups flour
¼ teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon of ground mace
1½ cups bourbon whiskey
2 Cups pecan pieces

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the butter with both sugars until smooth and light. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.

Sift the flour, salt, and mace together. Add this in theirds, alternating with the bourbon, to the creamed mixture. Mix until a smooth batter forms. Stir in the peacans. Pour the batter into a greased 10-inch tube pan.

Bake a 300º for about 1½ hours, or until firm to the touch in the center
