Finger Lickin' Butter Chicken Recipe

6 tbsp Olive Oil
5 Cloves Garlic
2 Birds Eye Chilis
2 Long Red Chilis
3 Thumbs of Ginger
½ C Ghee (Subbed for Vegetable Oil)
3 tbsp Tomato Paste
3 tbsp Turmeric
2 tbsp Chili Powder
2 tbsp Garam Masala
2 tbsp Coriander
2 tbsp Cumin
1 tbsp Oregano
3½ C Tomato Sauce
1½ C Water
¼ C Butter
5 Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts- Cubed
2 C Heavy Cream
8 tbsp Unsalted Butter
Jasmine Rice (to serve)
Naan Bread (to serve)
Cilantro (for garnish)

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place Olive Oil, Garlic, Chilis, Onion, and Ginger in a Blender and Puree until smooth.

2. Heat Ghee (or Veg. Oil) in a dutch oven over medium high heat and add onion mixture. Cook until slightly darker and soft. About 15 minutes

3. Add tomato paste, turmeric, chili powder, garam masala, coriander, and cumin and cook for 5 minutes.

4. Deglaze the pot with water and use a wooden spoon to scrape up the fond on the bottom of the pot.

5. Stir in tomato puree and increase heat to high, then reduce to a simmer. Stir in Oregano, cover, and cook for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

6. Add cubed chicken breasts and cook for 15-20 more minutes.

7. Add in cream and butter and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 5 minutes,until heated through.

8. Season with salt and serve over Jasmine rice, garnished with Cilantro, and Naan bread for dipping

Really delicious and EASY! Those birds eye chilis are HOT, so we subbed those and the long red peppers out for Finger Hot peppers. You could probably omit those altogether and get your spice just from the spices that you add!
