®CRUST:

3/4. CUP Butter OR. Margarine
1/2 Cup. Brown Sugar (packed)
2. Cups. Flour
12 Oz. Jar of fruit preserves or jelly (your choice of flavor )



TOPPING:

2. Eggs
1. Cup. Brown Sugar (packed)
1. Teaspoon . Vanilla
1/2 Cup. Flour
1/2 Teaspoon. Baking Powder
1/2. Teaspoon. Salt

CRUST :

Cream butter/Margarine. Add brown sugar and cream (mix thourghly). Mix in flour to resemble course crumbs. Press mixture into 13 x 9 inch greased cake pan. Spread preserves/jelly over crust mixture.


TOPPING :

Mix flour, baking powder and salt together.

Beat eggs, brown sugar and vanilla together. Add flour mixture gradually to eggs and sugar mixture until blended together. Pour over preserves. Bake in middle of oven at 325 degrees for 40 minutes or until light brown.
