2 pounds fresh or frozen green beans (2 16 oz cans will also work)
8 oz bacon, cooked til crispy and chopped
3 tbsps. butter
3 tbsps. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsps. soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
black pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350
Simmer green beans in salted water for 15 minutes.
Drain and transfer to 2 1/2 quart baking dish.
Sprinkle chopped bacon over beans. Melt butter, stir in brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder and peper.
Pour over green beans and toss until well coated.
Bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
