2 Chicken Breasts - boned, skinned (or Beef or Pork)
2T Ginger - fresh, grated
4 Garlic Cloves - chopped fine
4T Cooking Oil
1 Red Bell Pepper - sliced into thin strips
1C Snow Pea Pods - trimmed and slice diagonally
1 C Broccoli Flowerts
1 1/2 C Carrots - Sliced diagonally
1/2 C Celery
1 Tin Water Chestnuts

Hot Cooked Rice or Steamed Noodles

1. Cut chicken into thin strips
2. In a large frying pan or wok, heat 2T oil over medium high heat., Add chicken, stir-fry 2 or 3 minutes. Remove chicken from frying pan, set aside.
3. Add remaining 2T oil to frying pan, Add garlic and ginger and stir fry 1 minute
4. Add carrots, bell pepper and celery, stir fry briefly, add water chestnuts, broccoli, and pea pods and stir-fry 2-3 minutes,
5. Add cooked chicken to re-heat
5.. Serve with rice or steamed noodles.

This is the basic recipe Jan and I use all the time when we make stir fry. We sometimes add green onions and sometimes stir in a Teriyaki Glaze if we like.
