4 cups of whole grain corn (or maize) flour
1 tbsp. baking soda
3 tbsp. sugar
A pinch of salt
2 eggs
½ cup of cooking oil
2 cups of water or milk
Vanilla extract or lemon zest for flavour (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 360º F (180º C)
In a large bowl, mix all the dry ingredients
Pour in the water or milk slowly, stirring as you go. Make sure that it's not too thick or too runny
Pour in the oil and mix thoroughly
Add the vanilla extract or lemon zest (optional)
Bake at 360º F (180º C) for 20 minutes, or until cooked
Leave to cool and serve
