1 cup uncooked white rice
1 cup water for rice
1 lb. Italian sweet sausage
2 cups water
1 green pepper, seeded and sliced
1 onion, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Slice green pepper and onion.
Cook rice, either in a rice cooker or on the stove.
In a saucepan, place sausage links and add water. Bring water to a boil, then turn the heat down, put a cover on the saucepan, and cook sausages. After 10 minutes, add the green pepper and onion slices. Continue cooking the mixture for another 10 to 15 minutes. Test for doneness of the sausages by stabbing with a fork. If they don't bleed, they are done.
Serve the rice and sausage mixture in separate bowls.
