For cake:
7 eggs, separated
¼ cup wine
½ cup potato starch
1 cup sugar
1 cup ground nuts


Wine Sauce
½ cup sweet red wine
½ cup water
1 tsp. potato starch
125 g. sugar
2 eggs
1 T. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:

For Cake:
Beat egg whites until stiff. In a separate bowl, beat egg yolks and add all ingredients slowly while beating continuously. Gently fold in the egg whites. Bake at 165 C for 1 ¼ hours.


For Wine Sauce:
For Dissolve potato starch in wine and water in a pot. Add sugar and heat to boiling. Beat the eggs and slowly add them to the hot mixture. Add lemon juice. Pour mixture into a double boiler (a pot over another pot with boiling water), stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Serve hot or cold over dessertWine Sauce:
