2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 cup milk
2 cups, quick cooking oats
1 cup chopped raisins
1 cup walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

Combine all dry ingredients together.

With a mixer, work butter until creamy.

Add sugar & beat until light & fluffy.

Add eggs, one at a time, beating well in between each addition
.
Stir in milk.

Add dry ingredients & mix until thoroughly blended.

Stir in oats, raisins & walnuts.

Drop by rounded tablespoons 2" apart on greased cookie sheet.

Bake 10 - 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack
