1 lb. lean hamburger browned and drained.
1 pkg Italian spaghetti sauce mix
1 6 oz can tomato paste
3/4 c water
1/3 cup parmesan cheese
1 T. dried minced onion
1 8 oz pkg mozzarella cheese SLICES
1 10 oz can Pillsbury buttermilk refrigerated biscuits

Directions:
Brown beef and drain. Add onion, stir in water, sauce mix and tomato paste. Simmer 10 minutes. Line a greased 9" glass pie plate with the biscuits pressing together to seal and make a crust including up the side of the pie plate. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of parmesan over the crust. Fill with 1/2 the meat mixture. Top with 2 slices of mozzarella cheese. Spread remaining meat mixture over cheese. Sprinkle with remaining parmesan. Bake at 400 for 15 to 20 minutes. While baking, slice remaining mozzarella into strips. Remove from oven after 15 to 20 minutes and place cheese strips over the top. Return to oven and when cheese melts remove from oven. Cut into pie shape wedges and serve.
