12 cups flour
6 teaspoons salt
1/4 lb. lard

6 teaspoons of sugar in large bowl, add 4 cups of lukewarm water
add to water mixture 2 packets of yeast, mix gentle.
Let this sit until it bubbles up high. About 20 minutes. Then stir to add to flour mixture

Measure the flour and salt in a large bowl, add lard and work in with you hands until all worked in.
Make a hole in the middle then pour in yeast mixture , stir then work with you hands if dry add a little water. Work the dough on a floured counter, bring the outside in towards the middle in a circular motion until a smooth ball.
Put dough into a clean oiled bowl roll the dough around in bowl to coat all sides. Cover with teacloth and let rise until double the size.( about 1 1/2 to 2 hours). Grease and flour 4 loaf pans. Push down dough and cut into 4 equal pieces. Roll in flour. Put in pans. Cover again with teacloth to rise until double the size.( about 1 hour)
Bake at 425º for 10 minutes then turn down heat to 375º for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
