1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup butter, softened
1 tsp vanilla
2 egg yolks 2 TBSP water
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder


16 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup chopped nuts


2 egg whites
1 cup brown sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar, butter, egg/water mixture, vanilla. Add the dry ingredients and blend well. Spread the dough 9 x 13 pan. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and nuts. Beat egg whites until stiff with electric mixer. Add in the brown sugar. Spread over the chips and nuts.

Bake at 350º for 25-30 minutes

Cool and cut into squares.
