1/2 cup butter or shortening
6 TB sugar
6 TB brown sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp water
1 egg
1 cup + 2 TB flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1.2 tsp salt1/2 cup coarsely chopped nuts
6 oz semi sweet chocolate morsels

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Blend butter, sugars, vanilla & water until smooth & creamy. Add egg & continue to beat.

Add flour, baking soda, & salt. Mix well

Stir in nuts

Spread into greased 13 x 9 pan

Sprinkle morsels over top of batter

Place in over about 1 minute, remove from oven & run knife through batter to marbelize.
return to oven & continue to bake 12 - 14 minutes

Cool completely before cutting into 2" squares
