1 cup butter
1+1/2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 cups canned pumpkin
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 TB cinnamon
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 (8 oz) pkg diced dates
1/2 cup raisins
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º

Cream butter & sugar

Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition

Add pumpkin & mix well.

Sift flour, salt, baking soda & powder & cinnamon together.

Add to pumpkin mixture & beat well.

Add dates, raisins & pecans & mix until well coated & dispensed through the batter

Butter whatever container you are using to bake in. Can use 1 - 3 qt casserole dish, 2 - 5 x 9 loaf pans, 2 - 1 pound coffee cans or 2 - 13 oz salted peanut cans

Bake for about 75 minutes or until bread tests done.
