Ingredients:  
1/2 cup softened butter
1+1/3 cup sugar
3 egg yolks, lightly beaten
2+1/4 cups SIFTED CAKE flour
3 tsp baking powder
1/4 cup drained & crushed pineapple
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
3 egg whites, beaten stiff
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º

Cream butter & sugar together

Add beaten egg yolks & mix in well.

Sift flour, baking powder& salt together.

Add alternately with heavy cream & milk to the creamed butter mixture

Fold in stiff egg whites into batter.

Lightly fold in nuts & drained pineapple.

Pour into a greased & floured 9" loaf pan & bake for about 50 minutes or until lightly browned
