1/2 c ancho chili powder
1 1/2 c boiling water
2 roma tomatoes chopped with juices
1/4 c vinegar
3 garlic cloves
2 Tbsp brown sugar
1 tsp oregano
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/4 tsp allspice
3 Tbsp Olive oil

Directions:
Directions:
In a food processor, add chili powder and boiling water. Cover with lid to steep while getting other ingredients together. Add vinegar, chopped tomatoes, garlic, brown sugar, oregano, salt, cumin, cinnamon, pepper and allspice. Process until you have a smooth puree about the consistency of BBQ sauce or ketchup. If needed, thin with water. Heat oil in skillet or dutch oven over medium high heat. Carefully pour in puree and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and cook for 20 minutes uncovered. Makes 2 1/2- 3 cups sauce. Keep in airtight container in refrigerator.
