1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup apple butter
1/4 cup chopped walnuts
3 to 3+1/2 cups flour
1 pkg active dry Yeast
1 cup milk
1/4 cup molasses
1/4 cup butter
Powdered Sugar Glaze

In small mixing bowl combine raisins, apple butter & walnuts. seal & set aside - chilling

In large mixing bowl combine 1+1/2 cup flour & yeast.

Cook & stir milk, molasses, butter & 1/2 tsp salt just until warm (115-120º)

Add to flour mixture.

Beat with electric mixer on low speed for half a minute. Beat on high speed for 3 minutes.

Stir in as much flour as you can

Knead in enough remaining flour to make a moderately stiff dough - about 6 to 8 minutes.

Shape into a ball & place into a greased TW loaf pan (Ultra 21). put on seal & chill 3 to 24 hours

Remove seal, let stand at room temperature for 20 minutes then punch down then place on a lightly floured pastry sheet. Let rest, covered for 10 minutes. Roll to a 15 x 7 " rectangle

Spread on raisin mixture,

Roll Up, beginning with a short end & seal edges.

Let rise, covered with wax paper in warm place for 1+1/2 hours.

Bake , uncovered in 375º oven for 55 minutes, cover with foil after 20 minutes.

Remove from pan; cool; then top with GLAZE & nuts

To make GLAZE - stir 1 cup of sifted powdered sugar with 1 to 2 TB milk
