2 cups flour
2 tsp baking powder
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter, soften
1 cup white sugar
2 large eggs
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp almond extract
1/2 cup milk
2 1/4 cups blueberries
2 tbsp turbinado sugar or raw sugar

Preheat oven to 375ºF.
In medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt. In an other bowl beat together with a mixer, the butter and sugar for 2 minutes. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well between each and scrape down sides of bowl. Add vanilla and almond extract. Beat well. The batter may look grainy.
Add flour mixture gradually, alternating with milk, beating on low til just combined. Did blueberries and fold in gently

Scoop batter into a prepared muffin tin(12) top with raw sugar
Bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown. Leave in tin for 10 minutes then remove and completely cool. Store in covered container.
These freeze well
