⅔ C Wesson oil
1 C sugar
4 T molasses
1 egg
2 cup flour
2 t soda
1 t cinnamon
1 t ginger
½ t salt

Directions:

Mix the sugar and Wesson oil
Add the molasses and egg
Add the rest of the ingredients
It is a very easy recipe but a favorite with everyone.
350 for 10 minutes

Granny loved these cookies with coffee so she could dip them first. She was known for these cookies. This is a recipe she is so proud of.
I always make them for Christmas plates. They are usually the favorite of every neighbor who tastes them.
