1/2 cup Crisco
2 cups sugar
1 pkg Nestle chocolate morsels, melted
2 eggs
1+1/2 cup milk
3 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp almond
1 tsp instant coffee
1 tsp salt

ICING:
1/4 cup butter
1/2 pkg Nestle chocolate morsels
1+1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Cream Crisco & sugar. Add eggs & blend well

Sift flour & dry ingredients.

Add to Crisco mix alternating with milk

Add melted chocolate & flavoring.

Bake in greased tube pan for 1 hour or more - top springs back when lightly pressed

Make icing by cooking all ingredients until it comes to a boil. Remove from heat & let cool. once cool, beat with a mixer until creamy & smooth.

Spread over the cooled cake
