2 cups flour
1+1/3 cup sugar
2+1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup Spry
1 cup less 2 TB milk
1+1/2 tsp vanilla
2 eggs unbeaten

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375º

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder & salt into a mixing bowl.

Drop in Spry (no creaming needed)

Add 2/3 of milk, then vanilla.. Beat 200 strokes ( 2 minutes by mixer on low speed)

Add eggs & remaining milk continuing to mix for 200 strokes or 2 minutes with mixer.

Pour batter into prepared large baking pan.

Bake 35 - 40 minutes
