6+3/4 cups flour
1 tsp salt
3 TB sugar
3 TB + 2 tsp baking powder
2 sticks + 5 TB butter, COLD

2+1/2 cup buttermilk
chives, cut up with scissors

1 egg
few TB cream

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425º

Mix all dry ingredients then cut in butter with pastry cutter until mix looks crumb like.

Mix in buttermilk until dough forms

Split dough in half & add chives into it.

Divide dough into 2" biscuits & place on a cookie sheet

Beat egg & cream together , then brush onto biscuits

Bake 10 - 12 minutes
