1 envelope Knox gelatin
1/4 cup COLD water
3/4 cup BOILING water
1/4 cup sugar
pinch of salt
1 - 8 oz. pkg cream cheese, softened
1 cup crushed pineapple
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
1/2 cup chopped cherries ( not sure what kind)
small container of Cool Whip, softened

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve gelatin into COLD water then add HOT water & stir until completely dissolved

Add sugar & salt & stir until dissolved.

Add cream cheese. pineapple, nuts & cherries.

Fold in Cool Whip & stir until completely mixed.

Pour into desired mold & chill for several hours or overnight
