Blend and set aside:
½ C flour
½ C real butter

In heavy sauce pan, stir together:
1 C half and half
⅔ C corn syrup
1½ C sugar
¼ Tsp salt

Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, just to boiling. Keep boiling

Stir in:
1 C half and half

Cook to 234º on candy thermometer.

Add flour mix and continue to cook, stirring constantly to 242º.

Directions:

Remove from heat.

Add:
2 Tsp vanilla
½ C chopped walnuts

Pour into buttered 8 x 8" pan.

Cool, cut into squares.
