9 Apples, Peeled, Cored and Chopped
4 Tablespoons Sugar
2 Teaspoons Cinnamon
1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
1 Cup Brown Sugar
3 Packets Instant Oatmeal (Individual bowl Apple &Cinnamon)
¾ Cup Flour
1 Stick Butter, Cold Diced into Small Cubes

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 350º F. Butter 9x9 or 13x9 baking dish.
2. In a large bowl, combine apples, white sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice. Stir to coat evenly. Pour evenly into dish.
3. In same bowl, add brown sugr, oatmeal, flour and cold butter. With a pastry cutter cut the butter into the dry ingredients. Can also be done with your fingers.
4. Transfer topping to apples and spread evenly, patting gently to even it out.
5. Bake for 50 minutes or until topping is golden brown and mixture is bubbly.
6. Serve warm ... add ice cream for a special treat.

I used Quaker Instant Oatmeal individual packets that Becky takes from the breakfast bars in hotels. Worked great with tons of delicious flavor.
