1/2 cup butter
1 egg
2 TB water
1+1/4 cup flour, sifted
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder

6 or 8 oz. pkg chocolate morsels

2 eggs
3/4 sugar
6 TB melted butter
2 tsp vanilla
2 cups finely chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Beat together butter, egg & water.

Sift & stir in flour. sugar, baking powder.

Press into a greased 13 x 9 pan & bake for 10 minute

At once sprinkle morsels on top then return to oven for a minute'

Spread the chocolate evenly.

Beat eggs until thick. Beat in sugar

Stir in melted butter & vanilla,

Add finely chopped nuts. & spread on top of chocolate.

Bake for 30 - 35 minutes

Cool completely before cutting into 1+1/2 " bars.
