1½ cups sifted all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking powder
1 cup (½ lb.) butter
1-8 oz. package cream cheese
1 tablespoon milk
1 tablespoon sugar
1 egg yolk, beaten
1-12 oz. can Solo filling

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour and baking powder.
Cream together butter, cream cheese, milk and sugar. Add and mix in egg yolk.
Pat into a smooth dough. Roll out to ⅛ or ¼ inch thick, as desired, and cut with
a cookie cutter into 2 inch rounds.* Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and make a
depression with thumb or spoon in center of each round. Add 1 teaspoon Solo filling
into each center.

Pre-heat oven to 400º and bake kolacky from 10 to 12 minutes, or until slightly brown.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar before serving.

*I use a 3 inch square cocktail glass and fold the two opposite ends over.
This recipe freezes very well.
