2 TAB shortening
1 C sugar
2 eggs, beaten
4 C flour
3½ Tsp baking powder
½ Tsp cinnamon
½ Tsp salt
1 C milk or cream

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening & sugar

Add eggs, mix well

Add dry ingredients milk

Place dough on floured surface and pat & roll to ½" thick.

Cut into 6" x 1" strips

Twist dough and press ends together

Fry at 360º a few at at time until brown

Drain

Dust with powdered sugar
