1/2 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 egg
1/4 cup milk
2 TB lemon juice
3 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1 - 12 oz. fresh or frozen cranberries, chopped
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375º

In a mixing bowl, cream butter & sugars.

Add egg, milk & lemon juice & mix well

Combine dry ingredients then add to creamed mixture, mixing well.

Stir in cranberries & nuts

Drop by heaping tsp - 2 " apart- onto greased baking sheets

Bake 13 - 15 minutes or until golden brown

Cool on wire racks
