5 pounds 1/4" thin cut deer roast strips
8 oz bottle of soy sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 pint vinegar
1/2 ounce liquid smoke
Cayenne pepper (optional to taste)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix ingredients together as a marinade.

Marinade meat in a Ziploc bag for 12 hours

Strain excess juice from the meat.

Place meat strips in a dehydrator. Cook on the beef setting for up to 8 hours.

Jerky is finished when meat is dry and rips apart.
