1/2 pound butter
2 cup sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp soda
1 pint sour cream
3 cups sifted flour
2 tsp vanilla


TOPPING:

1 cup sugar
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º

Cream butter & sugar together.

Add one egg at a time, beating until smooth

Add baking soda to flour. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream. Add vanilla.

Grease & flour 8 x 8 or tube pan.

Pour half the batter into pan, sprinkle topping over the batter then pour the rest on top of topping.
Run a knife swirlin thru the batter so topping will go thru the cake.

Bake for one hour
