1 cup softened butter
½ cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
2¼ cups all purpose flour
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter, powdered sugar and vanilla. Add flour, salt and walnuts.
Roll into 1 inch or so balls.
Put on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes until the bottom is lightly browned.
Immediately roll in powdered sugar and let cool.

Here is a recipe I make once a year at Christmas time. It’s something my Mom made for us growing up. They are delicious! I usually double the recipe because they get eaten real fast!
