1+1/4 cup sifted flour
3/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup softened butter
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1 large egg
1/4 cup + 1 TB kahlua
1/3 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Brown Butter Frosting:
2 TB butter
1 TB Kahlua
2 tsp milk or light cream
1+1/3 cup sifted powdered sugar

24 walnut halves (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º.

Resift flour with baking powder & salt

Cream butte ,sugar & egg together well. Stir in Kahlua, then flour mixture, blending well.

Fold in chips & nuts

Turn into greased 11 x7 pan & spread evenly

Bake for about 30 minutes or until top springs back when touched lightly in center

Remove from oven & cool in pan 15 minutes, then brush top with remaining 1 TB Kahlua.

Make frosting by placing butter in a saucepan over low heat until lightly browned.
Remove from heat & add kahlua, milk & sugar. Beat until smooth.

When cold, frost with Brown Butter Frosting. When set place a walnut half on each cut square.
