8 oz spaghetti
2 TB butter
1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1 cup (8 oz) cottage cheese
1 pound ground beef or pork sausage
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 - 8 oz can (1 cup) can tomatoes, cut up
1 - 6 oz can tomato paste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp oregano, crushed
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/2 cup ( 2 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350º.

Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Drain.. Stir butter into hot spaghetti. Stir in eggs & parmesan cheese. Form into a "crust" on a 10"pie plate.

Spread cottage cheese over bottom of spaghetti crust

In a skillet, cook groud meat, onion, & pepper until tender & browned. Drain off excess fat.

Stir in undrained tomatoes, paste, sugar, oregano & garlic salt & heat through.

Turn meat mixture into spaghetti crust.

Bake, uncovered, for 20 minutes.

Sprinkle cheese atop & bake 5 minutes more.
