Ingredients:  
3 quarts water
2½ C dry navy beans
3 lbs meaty ham bone
1 C chopped celery
1½ C chopped carrots
1¼ C chopped potatoes
1¼ C chopped onions
½ Tsp salt
½ Tsp pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Rinse beans.

Put beans, ham bone in large pot with water.

Bring to boil, simmer until beans are tender.

Remove ham bone and meat.

Chop meat and return to soup.

Add remaining ingredients.

Simmer 30 minutes or until vegetables are done

Serve
