1 can of your favorite pie filling
2 Tbs sugar
½ cup brown rice flour
½ cup arrowroot starch
1 teas baking powder
¼ teas xanthan gum
⅓ cup 2% or almond milk
1 Tbs melted butter
½ teas cinnamon mixed with 2teas sugar
2 Tbs cold butter, cut into small pieces

Grease a 4-quart slow cooker.
Pour your filling into the greased crock
In a small bowl whisk together flour, arrowroot starch, baking powder, 2 Tbs sugar, and xanthan gum. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the milk and melted butter. Mix until thick batter.
Drop batter by Tbs on top of the filling and use a fork to spread evenly over the filling.
Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the top and dot with butter.
Cover and vent lid with a wooden spoon. Cook on high for 2&1/2 hours until done. Serve hot with ice cream.
