1 can of cherry pie filling
2 sticks of butter softened
1 ½ cups of sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
3 cups flour
1 ½ tsp baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
Add eggs 1 at a time beating after each addition.
Blend in flour and baking powder.
Add vanilla

Grease a 10 X 15 cookie sheet.
Reserve 1 cup of batter
Spread batter in pan.
Spread can of cherries over batter.
Make dots of reserved batter over cherries.
Using tip of a butter knife gently pull dots of batter over cherries.

Bake in a 350 º oven 25 to 30 minutes until lightly brown.
Cool and dust with powder sugar.
