4 large eggs
1 cup whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup half & half
1 cup sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, sifted
1 TB vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
8 cups - 1" cubes of bead, cut from a 1 pound loaf of white sandwich bread
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup golden raisins

Preheat oven to 350º

Whisk together eggs, milk, cream, half & half, sugar, cocoa, vanilla & salt in a large bowl.

Stir in bread until coated & let stand 5 minutes. Stir in chips & raisins then transfer to a buttered 13 x 9 baking pan.

Bake pudding in a water bath in middle of the oven until custard is just set - about 40 minutes.

Serve warm
